NASA Human Lander Challenge
2025-2026
NASA’s Human Lander Challenge (HuLC) seeks innovative solutions to critical technology development areas for the Human Lander System (HLS). This year’s theme is to improve critical aspects of Environmental Control and Life Support Systems (ECLSS) to better support long-duration spaceflight. Our proposed solution should also be viable for implementation within the next 5–8 years.
Meet the Team
Our project aims to develop a reliable method for fluid transfer between surface assets on the Moon and Mars, including oxygen, water, fuel, and waste. The design must account for extreme environmental challenges such as temperature and pressure fluctuations, reduced gravity, and pervasive lunar and Martian dust. The expected outcomes are to validate the proposed design through simulation and produce a scaled model for visual representation.
